MACH Board and General Meeting Minutes
8/15/05 @ Lynn Tatro’s Home
Time: 7pm

Attendance: Greg and Sandy McClintock, Vineta Hesson, Colleen Cook, Karen Boorman, Lee Sharp, George Spigelmeyer and Lynn Tatro

Secretary Report: MMB Karen, Sandy 2nd, passed: Accept minutes of last meeting

Insurance policy packet arrived and is in order.

Treasurer Report: $ 8,699.99 Checking Account

Committees:
Advertising/Fundraising: Kathy Ayers – Chair, Karen – Helper

Training: Asking Linda Wilson for suggestions and ideas concerning the various types of training

Equipment: Greg McClintock – Chair, George and Lee – Helpers
Discussion on Greg keeping the equipment trailer at his residence after the MACH trial. Will be responsible for towing it to and from trials and training sites. Also has accepted the maintenance and up keep of the equipment.

Old Business:

Amend the motion voted on and passed during the Annual Meeting concerning the reimbursement of the Trial Secretary. Which stated, “ The club shall pay the Trial Secretary $100. per trial for services rendered. Was advised to change trial, to trial weekend for services rendered.
MMB Karen , Sandy 2nd . To make the change. Voted and passed.

Trial Report: Lynn – Trial Chair, Mary Hermon – Secretary, Karen – Hospitality, George – Equipment Chair, Course Builder ???

The judge will be arriving Friday, 8/26th, Vineta will be picking him up and transporting him back to the airport.
Trial is being held at the Matanuska Soccer Fields in Palmer.
Set up Time has been changed from 6:30pm Friday, to 7:45pm . Equipment trailer will be at the field by 7:30 pm.
Direction signs will be provided by Colleen
Sandy McClintock has agreed to take care of the porta-potties.
Chief Ring Steward will be Krissy Rupe & Lynn Tatro as helper.
Ribbons are being handled by Linda Wilson and Vineta has taken care of the toys/trophies. All qualifiers will receive a toy.
Karen reported that “Tia’s Gourmet Sausage” will be our vendor during the trial. The post trial dinner has been changed from the Peking Palace in Palmer to Evangelos in Wasilla. Reservations have been made for 6:00pm Sat. evening.

George and Pat will have their RV at the Soccer field site with generator.

Mary Herman will have her table setup with her own generator.

Other Supplies furnished by club members.

1 canopy tent: Kathy Ayers
Was discussed to get canopies from the Aussie Club.

Suggested that everyone can park their vehicles at the little league ball parking lot. The soccer field is quite a distance, so be prepared to use a hand truck/carts etc. to pack all your stuff in.


New Business

Resolution was made in changing the Clubs Registered Agent Pam Holen, of 1501 N. Shoreline Dr, Wasilla, AK 99654 to Kathy Ayers, of 2941 Sainden St., Wasilla, AK 99654. A Statement of Change with the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development has been filed out, signed by Vineta and dated as of 8/15/05. A fee of $25.00 will also be submitted.

MMB Sandy, 2nd by Lynn. Passed per members vote.

Kathy Ayers also had prepared and will be submitting to Wells Fargo the required signature authorizations for our bank account.

Discussions where made concerning Trial dates for 2006, - undecided for now

Next meeting will be at Colleen’s home. Wed. Sept 21st, at 7pm.

Palmer/Wasilla Hwy, traveling from Trunk Rd to Palmer, go past Hemmer Rd. Turn left at the 2nd Driveway. There is a Sign that says “Home of All-Purpose Buildings”. We have a very large beige and green shop, Our home is behind the shop. Drive on back if there’s room or park in front and walk to the back.

~ Bring your ideas for the Christmas party.  2006 Trial dates will be discussed.  Need new person to answer the phone and a new Membership coordinator.  Failure to attend the September meeting may result in your appointment to a duty.  (just kidding -- maybe ---  wanted to be sure someone read the whole thing.  Congratulations)
