Board & General Meeting
August 28, 2006
7pm @ The Windbreak, Wasilla

Attendance: Colleen, Tracie, George, Pat, Linda, Vineta, Lynn, Mary, Chance, Kathy Ayers, Kathy Allen and Guest, Bill Wilson.

Secretary Report: July minutes were approved by Mary Hermon 2nd by Tracie East.

Treasurer Report: approx. $10,000.

Policy & Procedures: None

Trial Committee Report: We are posted to the 07 calendar; Tracie will be working on getting a judge for the spring trial.

Website: Lynn reported that it is working great

Old Business: Upcoming Distance Handling Seminar, Chaired by – Vineta Hesson, Colleen, Tracie and Lynn helpers.

Kirsten Cole-Mac Murray of Top Rock Agility from California will be giving the seminar on Nov. 11th and 12th at the new Sindorf Horse Arena. The seminar will be limited to 12 working teams each day. Saturday will focus on Novice dogs and Sunday will be for Intermediate/Advance dogs. Information registration forms were passed out for club members to fill out. Club handlers would get a fee discount costing $ 120.00 for one day including the 2nd day as an auditor. Other handlers outside the club will be charged $150. This is handling 1 day and audit the 2nd day. A confirmation letter will be sent out to each handler explaining all the details needed to know, such as directions, where to park, where to set up, when we will start and be finished for the day. We plan to take at least a ½ hour lunch break; Colleen volunteered to contact the Pony Club to run a food concession stand. She’ll report back by next meeting.

Café Press Store: Lynn reported that this is an internet site that she has a link to if you are interested in placing an order.

New Business:
Christmas Party – Kathy Ayers volunteered to hold the party at her home this year. No date has been scheduled yet.

Annual Awards – Lynn suggested that we need to have annual awards for our club members and their accomplishments. Every one needs to send her all your dogs’ new titles for this past year. There will be a link on the MACH web site to fill in your information.

Next Meeting: Sept 18th, at the Windbreak. Dinner @ 6:30pm and meeting starts @ 7pm
